WORST Customer Service EVER | Citicards in San Francisco, California

I just signed up for this credit card and wished I had known about the terrible customer service. I would have never signed up. I never thought customer service would even be this terrible because AMEX, Discover, Chase, and Capital One are AMAZING. Never thought it was possible, but Citi has made horrible credit card company customer service possible. They deserve an award for being so noticeably terrible. 1. 45min to 60min call waits. 2. When you finally get to speak to someone, they are rude and don't "listen" 3. They will hang up on you if they don't want to address your concerns any more 4. If they feel like they are done helping you, they will end the call, regardless of whether you are actually done with your questions. 5. NO ONE CARES about your issues, you are SOL.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. 30-45 minute hold times, 4 different calls to resolve a simple issue, customer service representatives based offshore that don't know how to answer basic questions without transferring, late arrival of card, penalties and service fees based on all these delays. The list goes on. After holding on the last call for 45 mins, I finally tried chatting with someone. The first person had to transfer me (are you kidding me?) and I then waited on chat for 20 minutes before finally giving up! The card does it's job but the customer service makes you want to kill yourself. DO NOT GET THIS CARD if you want simplicity and efficiency when you have a problem.

Typical Citibank/Citicorp. They do no hire Americans, who seem read scripts and are incapable of thinking.

They rely on technology and pre-recorded messages and interminable wait time. BAD SERVICE is the Citi hallmark.

had a citi card since 2003 ...paid balance when the bill came in for 13 years they decide not to send bill last month said my responsibility to know when my payment is due charged me $30 plus interest even though i paid the balance and was told they can ajust the fee s and interest after the bill was paid...that's how citi rewards loyalty .... I understand now why their stock is down 80% over 15 years the worst investment anyone could have made since the turn of this century . just got another bill in for $2 for the interest on the fee's and interest they charged me

Timeshare buyback-vacation plan "scam" in January, notified Citi four days after - took advice of dispute department, received conditional credits and they recharges us, they took side of merchant, we are out lots of money, no vacation package, no checks coming for existing timeshares. They make more money off scammers than cardholders. So much for 10 plus years as cardholder - their customer service is despicable, very disappointing to see older people - first scammed by really good *** artists and then your credit card company

Rip me off on my credit bonus | Citicards in Middletown, Connecticut

I am moving out of US and wanted to redeem my cash reward. They said that they have a policy that no redemption will be allowed below $50. This was never informed by customer care associate when I took the card. This is oversmartness and cheating customer. They didn't even show courtesy to do an exception. I called them, tried online chat and email as well. If you ask them that I want to complain about this, they won't direct you to someone as well by clearly saying that they won't do it even if they know the contact person. This was too ridiculous.
