DISPUTE PROCESS IS A JOKE | Citicards

Details
I disputed a charge from an online vendor where the refund did not go through. I sent a copy of refund notice from vendor for full amount and Citi placed a temp credit on my account. 2 months later they reversed the credit and stated vendor responded that item was ordered. Well duh, that was the dispute issue I ordered the item, they charged me, the next day I cancelled and they sent me a refund confirmation. Citi refused to do any further follow up and I was told by their Executive Office that they only even had a dispute process because MC/Visa MADE THEM. IN OTHER WORDS THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.

Did not stay at this hotel | Citicards

I got invited to attend a relatives wedding in Shenectady N.Y. on5/23/16.My son and dauther in law agreeded to pay the airfare and I agreeded to pay for the hotel. Wewere told by N.Y. relatives to stay at the Albany airport hotel. Later that day we were switched by these relatives, to stay at the Hamton Inn, Schenettady (see MC statement charge for 5/23/16.) My daughter in law Debby Gonway made and cancelled the Albany reservatioh before arrival time. I have spoken to the Albany hotel rep and they will not cooperate in this matter I have also written notes to CITI CARDS while sending my checks , always on time or early . Not the proper procedure I realize now. I will not pay the Albany hotel, nor the interest charges CITI keeps adding every month. You have to make a decision to drop me as a client , turn me over for collection or get rid of these charges somehow. It has been a pleasure doing business. Eugene j. Conway Card #[REDACTED].

I have been with Citi card for 4 years and they jacked up my interest rate so high due to one missed payment even if I did missed the payment due to their fault and when I try to resolve the issue they were not be able to help me to solve the problem. As far as I am concerned citi card is a criminal company.

No wonder People in this country pissed of with this national institutions like citi card.

It is a rip off. I will never do business with them once I paid of this balance.

After being a victim of fraud citi card had drained me of all my energy from 8 am. The questions which were asked were ridiculous. The rude Female from India I believe was of no help, refused to transfer me to her supervisor and give me her name. I'm absolutely disgusted . I have been a customer for 20 years. Spent hours on the phone . There is so much competition nowadays , there is no point to stay with citi card. Two hours on Saturday morning are wasted trying to prove to a bunch of people that barely speak English that I am in fact a victim of fraud. No thank you.

Customer service is ignoring me | Citicards in Mcminnville, Oregon

I used their online chat and was told they could not help me and I would have to call to talk to a supervisor. I called, waited over 30 minutes, only to be told that all the supervisors were either not available or helping other customers. I asked to be called back when they were available, and left my cell phone number. It has been 24 hours and no one has called. I feel like I just got the brush off. So I am going to stop using my citi card for any new purchases and only leave one monthly recurring utility payment on it to keep the card active. US Bank will be very happy, as I will be putting all my purchases on their credit card instead of Citi! US Bank customer service is outstanding.

As most people are finding Citi customer service reps are not trained to sort thru account issues even supposed managers, I never had an issue with American Express for ten years I have had no issues second Costco switched the problem started currently seeking legal consel to sort through two day circus of Citi Visa having mismanaged my account. They are refusing to cancel my account on top of previous issues.

Details
TERRIBLE customer service. I was on hold multiple times for almost half an hour and I never got through to anyone. When I finally did, they intentionally screwed up my name change. I was a bit frustrated after being on hold and bein transferred so I had a stern tone. I spelled out my new name clearly, which is short and simple, five times and yet he still misspelled it. Because of his intentional error, I have to wait a few days to receive my new credit that has an incorrect name and activate it. Then, I have to call back to get name changed and then wait for a few days for the new credit card. Just terrible customer service.
