WORST CREDIT CARD EVER!!!

I HAVE NEVER written a negative review in my life, but CitiCards deserves it!! I have several American Express and US Bank cards who FAR EXCEED CITICARD in every way!

In the past I requested limit increases numerous times without success. As a result I stopped using the card much. I called to change card to a no annual fee, just like my American Express did, but CitiCard would not! Instead they offed to reimburse my $75 annual fee if I spent $750 in 3 months.

I said ok, put a note in my account, I will spend $750. I went to Kroger to purchase $750 in gift cards but my CitiCard was DECLINED, 3 times. HOW EMBARRASING!!! Now I have spent the last 45 mins with a barely English speaking person just trying to CANCEL THIS USELESS CARD!!

SO DONE WITH CITICARD!!

Why I wasted 10 years using them is beyond me! I'm done!!

Mysterious charge on credit card

I never did get a reply from them through email! But I was finely able to get through a customer service representative and found out that charge was due to fact that my payment was lost in the mail even though I mailed out early.

I also was confused about it, because it had never happened to me before. I didn't understand that there was a minimum payment due and that's where the mystery charge was from. I had always paid the full amount on my credit card and because of it being misplaced by the USPS everything was in chaos! I was able to talk to a representative from Citi Bank and everything was resolved to my Satisfaction and my misplaced payment did finely show up at end of month, but not by the date that I was trying to get in by.

I was charged a late fee because of it. But it was credited back to my account after the payment did arrive.

Sometimes things happen that we can't control and was my time I guess. I am just happy that everything was settled and taken care of!

Payment

I have been trying to make a payment due Monday on my card #5424 18** **04 7517. Your website keeps running me around in circles, it's a disaster. The phone number on the back of the card is worthless. Try calling it yourself -800-823-****. Unless I can speak to a LIVE PERSON to fix these problems I won't be able to pay you! Call ASAP. Mysterious balance on Citicards Credit Card

I never did receive a reply from Citi Cards via Email. So I asked for advice from my friends. I was finely able get ahold of Citicards Customer service and the Issue was resolved quickly and to my Satisfaction. The only thing I can say is to keep trying to reach the company through their phone number, never a email!

User's recommendation: Try reaching them through phone number,no matter if takes a while, because you would get better service that way, instead of trying to contact them through email !

Worst customer service of ANY credit card

Cannot access a live person to get help activating card or getting online access to my account. My account information is outdated but the online process gives me no way to change it because I am locked out. I am locked out because the phone number you have is incorrect.

They stole my refund again

User's recommendation: Try another company. Citi has a habit of not refunding money you are due, but stealing it and taking your credit card billing that is not due out of your refunds.

Worst god damn company You have spent 100+ hours this year calling Citibank because YouTube was charging me $12.95 after I canceled. Citibank has failed to stop the charges or refund me even after shutting down my credit card . ***

Please stop Uber take out money from my account

I registered to be Uber member on October. But because the ride cost too much, I cancel the ride. After knowing the cost of ride, I never use Uber service. However because I am member of Uber, they take $24.99 each month. I did not know they take $24.99 every month even I do not use the service. So I cancel Uber membership. And I receive approval from Uber for get out from membership. However, they take $24.99 from my account again even I got out Uber membership. Please stop Uber take money from my Citi account. Also, I want to get return money from Uber which I never use. Please help me. Thank you. Happy New Year ^^

It was extremely disappointing that after 16.5+ of being a loyal Citicard customer that when I required assistance for a valid dispute based on the vendor being unable to provide services, that Citicards refused to validate this dispute. The vendor had verbally removed me from his premises despite me approaching the vendor civilly and quietly . That alone indicates that services would never be provided and they have not been. A taped audio recording of this was provided to Citi. I had also tried to work with the vendor so that he could provide services (also recorded and provided to Citi), but when I appeared at this premises, he changed his mind about how things were to go. If Citi will not stick up for me in such a blatant case, Citi will likely never stick up for anyone. Given this, there seem little reason to hold a Citicard. Over the coming months, I will disappointingly leave Citicards and Citibank. This has been a 16.5+ year relationship, and why Citi would just flush it away is unknown. I am very disappointed in that it appears nobody really seriously analyzed my case. I'll now work to see out another bank for my deposits and Mastercard.
